The Canada-based watchmaker Archer Watches gains its fame for the success of the remarkable Aero collection. And now the acclaimed line is welcoming its new member – Archer Aero CS, a limited edition of 20 pieces worldwide.
Brushed stainless steel case has a diameter of 42mm. Sapphire crystals are applied front and back to protect the watch, providing high scratch-resistance. The front crystal has double AR coating and that makes the dial pop. The dial design is straight out of simple manner, featuring an arrow marker at 12 o’clock. The hands and numerals are all treated with strong Super-Luminova, which results in good readability in dark conditions. The large Fileger crown is conspicuous, designed for easy winding and setting. There are also some other crowns available for different preferences.
There is a modified ETA 6497 hand winding movement inside. First of all, complete with the stop function at 12 o’clock, the central seconds complication represents the company’s expertise in watchmaking. When the crown is pulled to the setting position, the central second hand will travel to 12 and stop to allow for accurate synchronization to a known time source. In addition, the movement features several blued screws, Côtes de Genève, and rhodium plating. Both sides of the movement has been crafted with additional perlage finishing. Delicate snailing decoration has been done to the crown wheel and ratchet wheel. Coupled with a glucydur screwed balance and a Swan’s neck regulator, the hairspring is improved to Niravox 1 quality.
Joining the watch securely to the wrist is a brown or black 22 mm Jürgen’s pilot strap or an optional brushed stainless steel bracelet. In its refined design, the Archer Aero CS watch full capable for a daytime watch.
